Nate Wilkerson
I was raised in a strong Christian family but made a personal decision to sell out for Christ at a very young age. Since then, my overwhelming desire is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many souls as possible! The Lord called me to be a foreign, church planting Missionary when I was fourteen. I went to a couple Christian schools growing up until the Lord called my dad to pastor a church in Knoxville Tennessee (we were in Loganville Ga). I then went to Public school for my last two years of high school and the Lord used me to see over a dozen teenagers in my high school trust Christ alone for salvation! I was able to disciple them and many of them are still faithful to church and serving the Lord! In August of 2017, I moved to Alpharetta Ga to begin my training as a missionary and the Lord brought my beautiful wife, Emily, and me together. He has been showing Himself strong in our lives ever since! He has allowed me to lead an older man and his two teenage sons to the Lord and I was able to baptize them last month! In the fall of 2019, Lord willing, my wife and I will go on a six-month internship to a foreign country. We will study under a veteran missionary who has been trained and sent out of our church and mission board! We are very excited about this opportunity and greatly appreciate your prayers and support!
Emily Wilkerson
I was raised in a small town in North Carolina. I was raised in Church and attended a Christian School from kindergarten to graduation. I was not saved until I was sixteen years old in my sophomore year of high school. My life was turned upside down for the better after Christ entered my life! After graduating high school I had many decisions to face. I knew I wanted to do more for Christ. At the Our Generation Camp in the summer of 2017, I surrendered my entire life to serving God. God worked in my heart and led me to the Our Generation Training Center. Through this, I met the love of my life, Nate Wilkerson. We are currently serving at Vision Baptist Church, finishing up classes, and working part-time jobs here in Georgia. We are looking forward to a six-month internship overseas, Lord willing, at the end of this year! Thank you so much for your prayers!
Our ministry in Burkina Faso
The Lord allowed us to serve for 2 and a half years in the country of Burkina Faso where we were able to learn French, share the Gospel, see souls saved, preach in and help start a church and learn countless ministry lessons from the Rishel, Shumaker’s, and Brown families. We are grateful for our time there as the Lord used it to help prepare us to pioneer a work for Him in Benin.
